The Fine Print

Privacy policy

Last updated 11 August 2026.

Short version: we collect what we need to send you a golf club, we don't track you, and we don't sell anything about you to anyone.

The data controller is 2592903 Ontario Ltd., [REGISTERED BUSINESS ADDRESS], Ontario, Canada — reachable at hello@fairwayfinder.golf.

What we collect

Only when you buy something: your name, email address, shipping address, billing address, and what you ordered. This is collected by Stripe on their checkout page and passed to us so we can fulfil the order.

We never receive your card number. Card details go directly to Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 payment processor, and are never stored on our servers.

If you email us, we keep that email and your address so we can reply.

What we don't do

This site runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, no session recording, and no tracking cookies. We set no cookies of our own. There is no account to create and no newsletter you're silently added to.

Who else sees your data

Stripe
Payment processing and fraud prevention. Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout pages and has its own privacy policy.
Our shipping carrier
Your name and delivery address, so the club reaches you.
Google Fonts
Our typefaces load from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address when you view a page. We plan to self-host these to remove that.

That's the complete list. We don't sell, rent or trade personal information.

How long we keep it

Order and transaction records are retained for six years, as Canadian tax law requires. Support emails are kept for two years. Nothing else is retained.

Your rights

Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) you may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we're not legally required to keep it, and withdraw consent for any future use. Email hello@fairwayfinder.golf and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're unhappy with our response you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
